Shakshouka

Ingredients

  • Onions
  • Peppers (Red & Yellow)
  • Chopped tin Tomatoes
  • Cumin
  • Eggs
  • Salt and Pepper

Method

  1. Chop up and sauté the onions.
  2. Chop the peppers chunky and add to the onions.
  3. Add the salt.
  4. Add the cumin.
  5. Add the black pepper
  6. Add the chopped tin tomatoes.
  7. Add a little more salt and cumin.
  8. Make a couple little holes in the pan as a bed for the eggs to go into.
  9. Add the eggs to the holes.
  10. Simmer until the egg whites are white.

Serving Suggestion

Serve it in the pan for nice presentation and very tasty with crusty toast and butter.
