Chicken meatball spaghetti

Ingredients

  • Ground Chicken
  • Tomato Puree
  • Multigrain Spaghetti
  • Onion
  • Garlic
  • Basil
  • Chilli Flakes
  • Oregano
  • S & P
  • Seasoned Breadcrumbs
  • Parsley

Method

  1. Season a big pot of water with salt and bring to a boil. Add the pasta 15 minutes before the chicken meatballs are cooked.
  2. Chop half the onion and sauté in the pan with some olive oil.
  3. Add minced garlic to the pan as well.
  4. Add oregano to the pan.
  5. Chop the fresh basil and put in the pan.
  6. Add the strained puree into the pan and simmer.
  7. Season with S&P.
  8. Chop the other half of the onion into smaller pieces this time.
  9. Chop the parsley.
  10. Add the chicken mince, onions, breadcrumbs, parsley, parmesan cheese, chilli flakes, S&P.
  11. Form them into meatballs and bake in the oven for 20 minutes on 400F.
  12. Add the Pasta to the tomato sauce.
  13. Add the chicken balls to the pasta.
  14. Add some extra parmesan cheese and garnish with basil.

Serving Suggestion
